What are E-Statements?
E-Statements are an electronic version of the periodic statement stored on a secure server at the Credit Union.
How does E-Statement work?

When your E-Statement is ready each month, we will send you an email letting you know that it's available. Simply click on the link in your email message, or go to ubccu.org and log into UBAY@home. You can access your statement as many times as you like (for up to 36 months) or you can print/download a permanent copy for your records.

To view your statement electronically, you will need:

  • Internet access
  • An–E-mail address
  • An attached printer (if you want to print it)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (to view your statement)

E-Statements can only be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader® or a comparable PDF viewer program. The electronic version is created in PDF format, so no matter which popular operating system you use, we've got you covered.

Members must have access to Online Banking to receive E-Statements. These services, in addition to Online Banking, are FREE, but can only be accessed after logging on to Online Banking. Remember, once you sign up for this service you will no longer receive a paper account statement! That's a good way to reduce clutter, and good for the environment too! Get a notification every time your monthly statement is ready to be viewed.

How do I sign up for E-Statements?
Log into Online Banking, click the History tab and choose eStatements from the left sidebar. Choose Enroll and follow the enrollment directions.
When can I access my E-Statements?
E-Statements are usually viewable within two business days after your monthly closing date. UBCCU will send you an email confirmation advising you that your statement is available in Online Banking.
I got the e-Statement message, but I cannot view my E-Statement. What should I do?

There are a few reasons why this could happen:

  1. E-Statements can only be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader® or a comparable PDF viewer. Visit the Adobe website for a free download of the latest version.
  2. Some ISP’s insert additional code into the URL that we send in the E-Statement email message. They do this in order to route you to a framed window with some sort of disclaimer. Unfortunately, this may cause a failure when trying to retrieve your e-Statement. Remember you still have access to the e-Statement by logging into Online Banking.
Today is my E-Statement closing date; where is my statement?
The closing date is the last day of transactions that will appear on your E-Statement. On the following business day, all accounts with that closing date are sent to our processor, who converts the statements to E-Statements. E-Statments are normally available within two business days after the closing date.
How do I change the address where I receive E-Statement email confirmations?
Log into Online Banking, click Other Options on the top bar, then choose Update Email Address from the left sidebar. Enter your new email address, and click the Submit button.
How long are my statements available in Online Banking?
Statements are stored online for up to 36 months from your first E-Statement. If one is not listed, call (800) 968-7696.
Why can't I see my list of E-Statements?
The list of e-Statements comes up in a popup window. If you have a popup blocker, you'll need to allow pop ups for Online Banking. Consult your blocker's manual for specific instructions.
I am signed up for E-Statements, but I do not have any e-Statements to view. Where are they?
An email message containing a notice to view your E-Statement will be sent only once, when a new statement is available. Historical E-Statements can only be viewed dating back to the month that you enabled E-Statements and are available for a rolling 36 months.

Historical E-Statements can only be viewed dating back to the month that you enabled the e-Statement alert and are available for a rolling 36 months.
How do I print my e-Statement?
The E-Statement is displayed using the Adobe Acrobat® software within the browser window. To print the E-Statement you will need to select the print icon (small picture of a printer) in the Adobe Acrobat® window.
How do I save my e-Statement?
The E-Statement is displayed using the Adobe Acrobat® software within the browser window. To print the E-Statement you will need to select the save icon (small picture of a diskette) in the Adobe Acrobat® window.
How do I exit the E-Statement when I’m finished with it?
When you access your e-statement it launches a new browser window. When you close the browser window, the session that was open to the E-Statement server is terminated immediately.
